How's Boomerang's Pricing Work?

You pay per item stored, covering pickup, delivery, and storage. Check our pricing list for details. Heads up: there's a registration fee, but it's a small price for big convenience.

Can I Use My Own Boxes?

Absolutely! While our boxes are free, you're welcome to use any sturdy container. We're flexible, but your boxes need to be tough.

When and How Do I Get My Free Box Kit?

We'll either ship them directly to you or have them ready for pickup at a central location by finals week. You'll start with 4 free boxes and a roll of tape, with more available if you need them.

What's the Size of These Free Boxes?

Each box is a roomy 24"x18"x18", giving you plenty of space for all your stuff.

When Does Boomerang Pick Up My Storage?

Any Floor, Any Room, Right?

You bet! We'll pick up your items from any floor, directly from your room, at no extra cost.

How Early Do I Need to Schedule a Pickup or Delivery?

Please give us a heads-up by registering online at least 48 hours before your desired time.

Do I Need to Be There for Pickup?

This depends on how we set up pick up for your school. Check your schools specific page to see if we need to pick up while you are present via appt or if you can lock your items in your room and take off before we arrive. Feel free to send us a message if you questions.

What About Insurance for My Stored Items?

We offer $100 of declared value coverage per item or box. Want more coverage? It's just $10.00 per additional $100.00 of value.

Can I Get Stuff Out of Storage Early?

Sure thing, with 48 hours' notice. There's a $35 charge for early retrieval, but we've got you covered.

If I'm Not Coming Back, Can You Ship My Stuff?

Absolutely. Just let us know where to, and we'll sort out the details and rates.

Is Your Warehouse Climate-Controlled?

It sure is! Our warehouse's climate control keeps your items safe, cool in summer and heated in winter.

What If I Need Pickup or Delivery Outside Your Listed Dates?

We offer custom services starting at $90, depending on your needs and location. Just keep in mind, availability can vary.

Protect Your Treasures: Inside matters, not the container. Make it sturdy.

Chill the Fridge: Defrost and clean pre-pickup; we're not fans of ice age relics.
Bubble Wrap Ballet: Wrap your electronics in a cozy, 2-4 inch layer of bubble wrap or packing material.
Label Love Story: Every item tells a tale with your name, school, and room. Make it a bestseller.
Solo Journey: Items fly solo. Taping them together is a no-go. Keep every piece ready for its adventure.

When Is Payment Due?

At pick up, we accept credit or debit cards for the balance of your storage fees. Your credit card on file must be up to date on your pick up day. If the card declines, we unfortunately cannot pick up your storage.
